Ray Bryant - Little Susie

Pianist Ray Bryant's debut for Columbia was named after "Little Susie," a hit single he had a short time earlier recorded for Signature. The trio LP with bassist Tommy Bryant and either Gus Johnson or Eddie Locke on drums (reissued by Columbia Special Products in the early 1970's) has a remake of "Little Susie," a few other originals that did not catch on as hits and Bryant's interpretations of such songs as "By Myself," "Willow Weep For Me" and Cole Porter's "So In Love."

I want to thank you for all the marvellous music you have been sharing on these pages, Mel. Muito obrigado. Regarding this post, on Discogs.com some pages credit drummer as Oliver Jackson

Howevere, others have Gus Johnson credited

I am not sure which one is correct but I am inclined for the latter version. His name comes printed on the vinyl label.
On this latter page you will note also that composers are somewhat different from the ones listed on your post. But there is no mention to whom wrote If I Can Just Make It (Into Heaven). However, Ray Bryant played this tune on Montreux '77 and it was credited as Traditional. Therefore, I believe the correct song list should read.

01 Little Susie (Ray Bryant) 4:40
02 By Myself (Howard Dietz, Arthur Schwartz) 3:20
03 Blues For Norine (Ray Bryant) 4:35
04 Moon-Faced, Starry-Eyed (Kurt Weill, Langston Hughes) 3:27
05 Big Buddy (Ray Bryant) 5:37
06 Willow Weep For Me (Ann Ronell) 5:12
07 Greensleeves (Traditional) 2:26
08 So In Love (Cole Porter) 5:41
09 If I Can Just Make It - Into Heaven (Traditional) 2:12
10 Misty (Erroll Garner) 4:04
