New York Jazz Quartet - Music for Suburban Living

This edition presents, for the first time ever on CD, the two initial 1957 albums by Herbie Mann and his New York Jazz Quartet in their entirety : New York Jazz Quartet (originally on Elektra, later reissued on LP as Adam’s Theme), and Music for Suburban Living (originally on Coral). This short-lived group, which only produced three albums, featured an unusual instrumentation for jazz, consisting of Mann on reeds (flute, alto flute, clarinet and tenor sax), Joe Puma on guitar, Dutch player Mat Mathews on accordion, and Whitey Mitchell on bass. As their third and last LP included two percussionists on all tracks, this CD comprises all existing recordings by the New York Jazz Quartet as such.

Looks like a handsome little collection, Mel. Just one question - will I get all the necessary accessories to go along with the image of 'Suburban Living' if I listen to the music?
Lorsque je suis là, je veux te remercier pour tout ce que t'a partagé pendant ces dernières années. T'es trop gentil, mon ami.
Nuff respect...
