Solal is a fascinating figure and still active I'm glad to say. He's playing in London as part of the Jazz festival soon.

Sorry to moan but there's something amiss with the 3rd file. 7-zip tells me the password is wrong and all the files come through with 0 bytes.

Pierre Gossez fronted a fantastic 2 album project called "Come Bach". The first album was self-titled while the second was entitled, "Le Second Come Bach", I believe they originated in the early 60's. I heard them in my father's collection and Gossez was brilliant on the sax. I would love to get my hands on these!

Yes, Solal is an E.T. ! Not only a great soloist, a great composer, but too an amazing arranger ... still alive !!!
