Bob Dorough & Sam Most Quartet

The only vocalist to ever record with Miles Davis, Bob Dorough was also an exceptional pianist, composer, arranger and lyricist. This outstanding 69-minute release showcases the enigmatic musician's formidable piano skills along side flute and clarinet virtuoso Sam Most, bassist Bill Crow and drummer Joe Morello. Tasteful from start to finish, this sterling release is a must have for any jazz collector.

The only vocalist ever to record with Miles?

How about Kenny Hagood on the Birth Of The Cool?

A remarkable player indeed. Didn't Miles Davis record with Sarah Vaughan (beginning f his career) and Shirley Horn (towards the end)? Thanks, Mel.

There is indeed some exceptional playing on this release. There is an issue in the file though. I DL'd the file twice (once from RS and once from UB) and got the same result. There is static and dropout at 2:16 of the last track, "There Will Never Be Another You" that lasts for about 2 seconds. I don't know if this is something you can fix or not but I thought I'd let you know.
